The Catalan Society of Neurology has honoured Dr. Xavier Navarro Acebes for his outstanding professional and academic career with the 2025 Eduard Bertran i Rubio Award.

The Amics de la UAB association honored Dr. Elena Galea posthumously for her commitment to scientific research. The ceremony was held on November at Casa de la Convalescència, where Dr. Roser Masgrau, her research collaborator, accepted the award on her behalf.
