Inauguration of the METIP and Geoinformation Master's Degrees
On 17 September 2026, the Master's Degree in Territorial Studies and Planning and the Master's Degree in Geoinformation were inaugurated at 5:00 pm in the Degree Hall of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at UAB
On 17 September 2026, the inaugural session of the Master’s Degree in Territorial Studies and Planning and the Master’s Degree in Geoinformation took place at the Degree Hall of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at UAB.
The event began with a welcome and introduction by Àngel Cebollada, Director of the Department of Geography; Oriol Nel·lo, coordinator of the Territorial Planning module of the METiP; and Anna Badia, coordinator of the Master’s Degree in Geoinformation.
This was followed by the inaugural lecture, “Conocer el territorio, imaginar el futuro” (“Knowing the Territory, Imagining the Future”), delivered by Dr Jordi Corbera (Institut Cartogràfic i Geològic de Catalunya). You can watch the lecture via this link.
