Significant participation of the Department of Geography in the 29th Congress of the Spanish Geographical Association
A large delegation from the Department of Geography actively took part in the 29th Congress of the Spanish Geographical Association (AGE), held from 14 to 17 October 2025 at the University of Extremadura (Cáceres).
Under the motto “Challenges for Geography in the Face of Global Change”, the congress brought together hundreds of researchers and professionals to discuss the main territorial, environmental, and social challenges of today.
The Department staff contributed with numerous presentations, papers, and discussions in areas such as territorial planning, climate change, urban geography, mobility, and education.
