Recognition ceremony for retired staff of the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters
On June 17th, the Faculty of Philosophy and Arts held a recognition ceremony to honour the teaching and administrative staff who retired during this academic year. Among those honoured was Professor Montserrat Pallarès from the Department of Geography
With a long and dedicated career in research, teaching, and university management, Montserrat Pallarès has been a prominent figure within the academic community. To mark the occasion, a conversation was recorded between her and Professor Àngel Cebollada, Director of the Department of Geography, in which they share reflections on her professional experience and journey, the evolution of the University, and the significance of geography in both academic and social contexts.
