Recognition and Credit Transfer

This type of recognition refers to the recognition of subjects taken in previous university studies (official or university-specific).

Documents to be submitted:

1. Application for credit recognition 
2. Academic transcript of the Bachelor’s degree programme taken, showing all the subjects studied.
3. Pay the fee of €54.54 (€27.27 with large family discount)

For this type of recognition there are no pre-established recognition charts.

Application

Applications may be submitted throughout the academic year, to the Faculty’s Academic Management Office, in person by prior appointment or online via the UAB Electronic Office (generic application).

Important note

1. All Basic Education credits will be recognised for the five Bachelor’s degrees of the UAB Faculty of Communication Studies, since they are in the same field of knowledge (Journalism, Communication, Advertising and Public Relations).
2. The coordinator will examine the academic transcript provided and determine the subjects to be recognised.
3. This assessment will be based on subjects passed, not those recognised from an Advanced Vocational Training Cycle (CFGS).
