Sending the certificate
Documents
- Formal request for the certificate to be sent, which must include the student’s personal details (it is very important to fill in all fields, including a personal email address) and the name and address of the institution to which the certificate is to be sent.
- Photocopy of national ID or passport.
- Proof of payment of the shipping fee.
Institutions for delivery
The certificate can only be sent to Spanish institutions.
In the case of deliveries within Spain, certificates will be sent to Government Delegations and Subdelegations. The province of Barcelona is the only one excluded from certificate delivery.
In the case of deliveries outside Spain, certificates will be sent to Spanish embassies and consulates.
Fee
The shipping fee is €50,00.
Please note that bank transfers may generate charges (especially if made from abroad), both from the sending financial institution and the receiving institution.
These costs are borne by the person requesting the certificate. We therefore recommend that the student checks that the amount transferred matches the shipping fee plus any bank charges and currency conversion, if applicable.
Application
The application must be submitted through the UAB Electronic Office attaching all the documents listed above.
For further information on application and payment, please see the procedures detailed by the Academic Management Service.
To submit this application, you will need digital identification. Applicants without Spanish nationality and without digital identification can obtain accreditation with their passport by using the idCAT Mòbil system.
Collection
In any case, the applicant must collect the certificate in person from the institution (Delegation/Subdelegation or Consulate/Embassy) to which it has been sent.
