Greenhouse
Work on plants and their associated organisms can be carried out in laboratories, tissue culture rooms, growth chambers, greenhouses, screenhouses or under field conditions. Each of these environments poses different problems regarding containment, the environment and personal protection.
he terms greenhouse and nursery refer to structures with walls, ceiling and floor designed and used mainly for plant-growing in a controlled, protected environment. At the very least, all containment and protection measures laid out in Annex II of Spanish Royal Decree 178/2004 must be applied to activities with transgenic plants in greenhouses.
