The Department of Social and Cultural Anthropology expresses its condolences and regrets the recent loss of Joan Prat i Carós, professor emeritus of Anthropology at the Rovira i Virgili University, and Clara Carme Perramon Homs, who was director of the Municipal Archive of l'Hospitalet.

The special issue of the journal perifèria. Journal of Research and Training in Anthropology has now been published.
