Poster nominated as a finalist for the best poster award, through popular vote, at the 2026 Eastern South Dakota Research Symposium

Several UAB researchers rank among the most influential in the field of veterinary and animal science according to the Best Animal Science and Veterinary Scientists 2026 ranking, recently published by the international platform Research.com. 

The UAB has been designated a national center of excellence in animal welfare in partnership with the Institute for Agri-Food Research and Technology (IRTA) and Expasa Agricultura y Ganadería. The designation, approved by the Government via a royal decree, will be valid for four years and reinforces the scientific and institutional leadership of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in this strategic field. 

The Merit and Honours Committee for Animal Feed Medals publicly recognises the extraordinary work carried out by individuals and institutions in support of and to improve the animal feed and livestock sector.
