Carolina Ripollés Ávila has been honoured for her work with the 2026 Talent Serra Húnter Award in the popular science category

On 29 June, the Serra Húnter Talent Recognition event was held in the Gardens of Palau Robert to honour the teaching, research, knowledge transfer and work of the Catalan university system.

During the event, there were awards given out in five different groups.

We are proud to announce that Carolina Ripollés Ávila, a professor in our department who specialises in Nutrition and Bromatology, has been recognised in the popular science category.
