The series of #debatspublicaXXI debates is designed to create three different platforms for debate in relation to the university model we would like to have in the 21st century.  The purpose of this project—framed within the current Executive Board of Governors’ strands of work—is to help students to become active members of the university community, along with the administrative and service staff and teaching and research staff, on the assumption that it is a basic need to grant access to information and promote a platform for debate and joint reflection in relation to some relevant issues affecting our University.

This series of debates known as #debatspublicaXXI intends to highlight the students’ ideas and concerns about the soon-to-be new degree structure, student’s rights, duties and guarantees and student participation in the UAB. The first debate was held on 30 November and the two remaining ones will take place on 22 February and 26 April.

These sessions are open to all UAB students, administrative and service staff and teaching and research staff. The main purpose is for the university community to create a platform for debate and joint reflexion. We strongly encourage all of you to take part in the debates because the students’ voice is essential to reflect on the university model we would like to have in the 21st century.
