The Faculty of Science hosts the exhibition “Desemboscant” by Dr. Martí Boada

After 40 years of teaching and communicating environmental knowledge, and without renouncing these lines of dissemination and socialization the author poses an approach to understating through art, in this case, Forest Art.

From the regard towards the forest, interpreting auto-sculpture processes of the forest and its ecology; strengthened towards an aesthetic message, formed with finishes, which are recreated with primal, botanical and ecophysiologic art and supported with the help of the forest own materials: dyes, pigments, breas, etc.



Art as a resource, in a first purely artistic reading, can be expanded with an underlying reading of clear scientific intentionality, if you are looking for it.

With an essentially communicative objective: through the symbiotic blend between art and science, to cause and generate curiosity to understand and to value the environment that surrounds and sustains us.
