It is compulsory to take a minimum of 50% ECTS from your faculty of admission. Courses from other faculties or schools can also be taken, but those credits might not be eligible for validation later. You must inquire about these courses at the faculty in which they are offered. Check availability and application procedures at the corresponding UAB exchange office.

COURSES IN ENGLISH:

You can consult Bacherlor's degree courses delivered in English for the current accademic year here: Subjects in English

ESPECIAL COURSES:

Courses such Treball Fi de Grau (Final Thesis/Project), Pràctiques externes (Work placement) or lab courses, included in our course catalogue, are not generally offered to exchange students. You need specific admission from the corresponding coordinator before including it in your Learning Agreement.

MASTER LEVEL COURSES:

Only "Official UAB" type master's degrees from the Faculty of Sciences are open to exchange students. However, access is restricted (see admission requirements for each programme) and depends on your background, number of previous ECTS passed -180ECTS-, available places and master's coordinator's acceptance. Maximum 30ECTS/academic year. You will need to send your previous transcript of records along with your Learning Agreement. Most master's degree programmes are offered in English.

Master's degrees labelled "Erasmus Mundus" or "Inter-university" are not open to regular Erasmus+ students.

LANGUAGE COURSES AND REQUIREMENTS:

Exchange students do not have language requirements, but the following information will be taken into account:

- Recommended level is B1 for Catalan, Spanish and English lectures.
- During both semesters, basic language lessons are offered at the Servei de Llengües (basic Catalan lessons are free of charge at the moment).
- Sign up for a language partner with the Tandem programme
- Try the online SpeakCat  and Parla.cat programmes.
