Some of the applications are the application of Pb-210 technique as a sedimentation process and Ra isotopes and Rn in water as an hydrological and oceanographic processes. The dedicated facility include:

  • Alpha spectrometers
  • High resolution germanium gamma spectrometers
  • Microwave assisted digestion system
  • Millipore Elix and MilliQ type I water production system
  • Rad7 radon measuring systems
  • RaDeCC short-lived radium counting systems
  • Quantulus 1220 liquid scintillation counting system
  • Fume hoods
