Master description

The master's degree consists of a total of 60 ECTS credits to be taken over one academic year. The study plan is structured into theoretical and practical training modules, as well as applied research modules, and a work placement unit. The master's degree includes two specialisations: "Demography" and " Land Use Planning, Local Development and Regional Planning", three compulsory modules for all students ("Advanced Topics in Regional and Population Studies", "Methodology" and "Master Thesis"), and two compulsory modules in each of the specialisation, as detailed below.

Classes are taught in the afternoons, at the Department of Geography of the Faculty of Philosophy and Arts (Land Use Planning track) and at the Centre for Demographic Studies (Demography track).
