Ideal student profile

Graduates or diploma holders in Physiotherapy, or in equivalent degrees, who wish to acquire advanced and specific knowledge in pediatric physiotherapy, both in prevention and treatment, covering from newborn to adolescence.
It is aimed at professionals motivated by the development of specialized skills in child care and who stand out for their empathy, interpersonal sensitivity, adaptability, and ability to work as part of a team.

  • Describe in depth the different physiotherapy therapeutic approaches applied to various pediatric conditions.

  • Identify in detail the alterations of each stage of child development.
  • Perform the assessment of alterations and/or dysfunctions in the field of pediatrics.
  • Analyze the information obtained during the evaluation to establish a physiotherapeutic diagnosis consistent with the child’s condition.
  • Develop physiotherapy treatment in pediatrics by applying the most appropriate techniques for each case.
  • Apply the scientific method in the approach and resolution of clinical problems.
  • Solve problems and adapt to new situations in the field of pediatric physiotherapy, both individually and collectively.
