Casting opportunity for Carla Simón¿s film Romería: We're looking for the next Starboard!

During this month of February, there will be a casting for the film Romería, directed by Carla Simón and with the casting direction by Irene Roqué and produced by Elastica Films. The goal of casting is to find the ideal protagonist, a girl between 17 and 21 years old who is studying her first or second year of career. It is an essential requirement that the protagonist speak Catalan as a mother tongue and that he has a small accent when speaking Spanish.

The director, Carla Simón, former student of the UAB, has expressed her interest in giving an opportunity to the students of the university. For this reason, all girls who meet the requirements are invited to participate in this face-to-face casting. The casting will take place on February 27, 28 and 29 at the 3rd of the Faculty's TV, with opening hours between 12h and 19h on Tuesday, and from 10h to 18h on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Candidates should not have previous experience as actresses and casting will consist of a couple of short improvisations to allow each participant to show their potential. Interested parties are asked to scan the QR code provided in the event’s advertising posters.
