Award Ceremony for the best TFGs, Final Degree Projects, with a gender perspective of 2022

The 6th Edition of the Award Ceremony for the best Final Degree Projects with a gender perspective will be presented by the Observatory for Equality on the 29th of April

On the 29th of April, the 6th edition of the Award Ceremony for the best Final Degree Projects with a gender perspective will take place. The ceremony will be held at 12:00h in the Sala d’Actes of the Rectorate building. These awards, organised by the Observatory for Equality with the collaboration of the Institut Català de les Dones, aims to raise awareness among students and teachers about gender equality and non-discrimination by encouraging research with gender mainstreaming in all disciplines. The event is part of the Awards for the best Final Degree Projects for social transformation, organised by the Observatory for Equality and the Fundació Autònoma Solidària. 

The event will be attended by the Secretary General, Esther Zapater, the Executive Director of the Institut Català de les Dones, Neus Pociello, and the Director of the Observatory, Maria Prats, who will give the diplomas and gifts to the award winners, thanks to the support of the Institut Català de les Dones. The Observatory will contribute with its promotion by publishing the award-winning projects on its website.  

In this edition, there have been 86 Final Degree Projects from diverse faculties of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona: Science, Communication Studies, Educational Sciences, Political Science and Sociology, Law, Arts and Humanities, Medicine, Psychology, Translation and Interpreting and Engineering. A total of 27 TFGs have been awarded as the best TFGs of their degrees, completed during the academic year of 2020-2021. 

The next edition will open between June and July of 2022, all the TFGs with a gender perspective from the academic year 2021-2022 will be eligible to participate.
