How to reach the SDGs in Catalonia

In an event at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine it will be discussed how to reach the Sustainable Development Goals through Government Plan, National Agreement and 2030 Alliance in Catalonia.

On next 6th February from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m., the Educational innovation project “Implementing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)” of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, that features the support of the Teaching Quality Office of the Autonomous University of Barcelona, organizes the training “Reaching the SDGs in Catalonia: Government Plan, National Agreement and 2030 Alliance”, with the collaboration of Fundació Autónoma Solidaria. It will be chaired by Meritxell Rota, analyst of the Sustainable Development Counseling Council in Catalonia; an assessment body of the Generalitat government.

The 2030 Agenda for the sustainable development is an action plan made by the United Nations that sets 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and 169 economic, social and environmental targets. The Catalan Government has created a national Plan to implement the 2030 Agenda in Catalonia. It aims to collectively build the foundations of how Catalonia has to face the challenges and opportunities of the 2030 Agenda.
