The event will be introduced by Dr. Ricard Esteban, Dean of the Faculty of Law, and will feature talks by Nani Hidalgo and Elena Gámez, members of Right to Die with Dignity Catalonia.

Ireland and the European Union - Half a Century of Evolution
Description:
The Institute of European Studies at UAB and the Faculty of Law invite you to the lecture: “Exploring Ireland’s Adoption of EU Law and Post-Brexit Challenges” by Professor Declan J. Walsh (University College Cork).
This session will reflect on Ireland’s path within the European Union, the adoption of EU law, and the challenges brought about by the post-Brexit scenario.
The event is open to the public and especially addressed to students, researchers, and professionals interested in Ireland–EU relations.

Inaugural lesson of the Master's Degree in European Integration
Description:
This year, within the framework of the 40th anniversary of Spain's accession process to the European Communities (1985-1986), we have the honor of receiving Enrique Barón, former President of the European Parliament, to inaugurate the Master's Degree in European Integration at UAB.
In his speech, Mr. Barón will share a privileged insight into European construction, the current challenges facing the EU, and Spain's role in the common project.
