Next Thursday, September 25, 2025, at 4:00 PM, the Inaugural Session of the University Master's Degree in Territorial Studies and Planning will take place in the Çrades Room of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at the UAB.

4:00 PM Welcome and opening remarks by Àngel Cebollada, Director of the Department of Geography, and Asunción Blanco, coordinator of the Advanced Topics in Regional Studies and Planning module and coordinator of the Core Project.

4:10 PM Inaugural lecture: "Laboratorios de la integración europea". Relaciones y cooperación en los espacios transfronterizos de la UE. By Dr. Antoni Durà (Department of Geography, UAB)

This is the first lecture in the XV Conference Series on Territorial Studies and Planning. This fifteenth edition, titled "Tourism and Socio-territorial Challenges: The management of tourism in a mountain region: La Cerdanya", includes ten lectures addressing key aspects for analyzing the potential role of tourism as a complementary economic activity in local territorial development.
