Below is the title and summary of the presentation, which will be delivered in Spanish:
Geography and Innovation: the Relationship between Territory and Innovation from a Latin American Perspective
The aim of the seminar is to present the theoretical, methodological, and empirical discussions of the ongoing research on the relationship between Geography and Innovation, with a focus on the urban realities of cities in Latin America.
The central point of this discussion is to understand how and to what extent innovations—whether economic, social, or related to public policies—have the potential to change social relations and, consequently, transform the social process of space production in Latin America.
