Jornada Argó de Geografia - visit to the Port of Barcelona

Globalization, dependence or opportunity? Proposals for economic geography in the classroom.

This activity is organized by the Department of Geography and the ICE of the UAB.

The objective of the conference is to reflect on economic globalization and its geographical repercussions related to transport, infrastructures, global logistics centers, production and distribution spaces in the world, among others; and to bring these contents to the classroom to design geography learning situations.

Teachers from different universities will explain the basic topics of the subject, secondary school teachers will present different experiences in the classroom and experts will accompany us and show the main characteristics of the Port of Barcelona as a major logistics center.
