Students

1.- Authorisation document for depositing the project report in the UAB digital repositories, to be submitted to the Academic Management Office before 1 December 2023.

2.- Degree Final Project proposal form: Practice-based in PDF  and Degree Final Project proposal form: Practise-based in Word  or Research-based in PDF and Research-based in Word to be signed by the supervisor and the student, and submitted to the Academic Management Office before 1 December 2023.

4.- Project cover page template in PDF and Project cover page template in Word. Three-page PDF including the cover page and the record for cataloguing the project in the UAB Digital Document Repository (DDD). All Faculty projects, including practice-based projects, must use this template. It must be completed and then incorporated or merged into the PDF of the degree final project, so that only a single document is submitted. 

5.- Declaration of original work. A statement by the student that the submitted project is their original work. This must be signed by hand or by digital signature and sent to the supervisor by email. It should not be included within the project.

6.- Transfer of Image Rights and Use of Video Recordings and Photographs Agreement for students doing a project that involves taking images of other people. Since the work may be published in the DDD, this rights transfer is required. The template has been reviewed and approved by the Legal Office and the University’s Data Protection Officer. 

7- Transfer of Rights to Interviews and Opinions. To reproduce in whole or in part the opinions, ideas and statements gathered in an interview or form for a project, a rights transfer agreement must be obtained from the interviewee. The template has been reviewed and approved by the University’s Legal Office.

8. Confidentiality agreement on interviewee data. To guarantee the confidentiality of personal data of interviewees for a project, all evaluators of the project and anyone else with access to it must sign a confidentiality agreement covering the interviewees’ data. This template has been reviewed and approved by the University’s Legal Office.

9.- Materials from training sessions on the degree final project provided by the Communication Library and General Archive. These sessions offer resources for finding information sources, citing documents correctly, understanding and respecting copyright, and publishing the degree final project in the DDD.

10. Guide to “Degree Final Projects and Copyright: Respect and Protect”. Provides students preparing a project with essential information on intellectual property. It also covers open access issues related to depositing the project in the DDD. The digital version of this guide is adapted for viewing on various devices, including mobile phones, tablets and desktops.

11. Audiovisual resources for academic use: Web page created by the libraries compiling lists of repositories containing images (photographs, illustrations, icons, etc.), music and audio, maps and videos. These repositories are free and open access (Creative Commons or Public Domain licences). The page also includes general copyright information explaining how these audiovisual resources can be used in academic work in compliance with current legislation.
