Awards for the best Final Degree Projects with a gender perspective from the UAB

The Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona will celebrate on April 22 the award ceremony for the best Final Degree Projects with a gender perspective, organized by the Equality and Diversity Service based on the proposals of the different faculties and schools. In this edition, several students from the Faculty of Communication Sciences have been distinguished for their work, which addresses key issues such as the representation of women in the media, the female voice in the digital environment or the social construction of gender identities.
New management team at InCom-UAB

InCom-UAB begins a new stage with the renewal of its management, headed by Josep Àngel Guimerà and Enric Marin Otto, elected unanimously on February 20. The new team aims to strengthen the centre, expand its research base and promote strategic lines in a context of profound changes in the communicative ecosystem. With the aim of combining continuity and renewal, InCom-UAB is projected as a key space to rethink communication policies and digital culture, strengthening its collaborative vocation and its role in contemporary academic and social debates.

The Faculty of Communication Sciences opens on March 5th the exhibition “Leadership in Women. Women role models of communication”, a proposal that gives voice and visibility to professionals who have set a path in the sector. Promoted by the Equality Commission, the exhibition aims to recognize often invisible trajectories and offer students close and contemporary references, within the framework of the 8M activities at the UAB.
New edition of the UAB Virtual Fair for Master's Degrees, Graduate Courses and PhDs

Between 23 and 27 February, the UAB celebrates a new edition of its virtual fair for master's degrees, postgraduate degrees and doctorates. About 200 information sessions will be held on university master's degrees, lifelong learning master's degrees, diplomas, courses and doctorates, each with teachers and/or coordinators of the studies. Registrations are open!
