UAB Chemistry Students Win Second and Third Prize in the “What Molecule Am I?” Competition
On May 23, students from the Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) achieved outstanding results in the interuniversity competition “What Molecule Am I?”, held in Tarragona. This edition brought together 39 teams made up of students from several Catalan universities, including the University of Barcelona (UB), Rovira i Virgili University (URV), the University of Girona (UdG), and Ramon Llull University (URL).
The UAB teams demonstrated a high level of knowledge and skill, earning both the second and third prizes in the competition. This achievement highlights their strong academic preparation, as well as their dedication and teamwork.
The award ceremony took place on June 5, within the framework of Expoquimia, a leading event in the field of chemistry that brings together professionals, companies, and institutions from across the sector.
The department warmly congratulates our students on this excellent accomplishment, which further enhances the prestige of the degree program and of the UAB as a whole.
Congratulations to our students!
