Call for elections to the Department of Chemistry Council
On May 26, 2026, the call for elections for the renewal of the members of the Council of the Department of Chemistry has been approved, in accordance with the UAB Statutes and the current Electoral Regulations.
In accordance with the regulations, the composition of the Department Council is distributed by sectors as follows:
- Sector A (permanent PDI): 51% ex officio members (52 members)
- Sector B (non-permanent PDI): 10%; 10 representatives
- Sector C (doctoral students and research staff in training): 25%; 26 representatives
- Sector D (PTGAS): 14%; 14 representatives
Elections are hereby called for the renewal of the representatives of sectors B, C, and D, according to the established schedule.
We encourage all the groups involved to actively participate in this electoral process.
