Faculty Teaching Excellence Award to Professor Jordi Grau Rebollo
Last February, Jordi Grau Rebollo, professor in the Department of Social and Cultural Anthropology, was awarded the Teaching Excellence Award from the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters. Congratulations!

Jordi Grau has extensive teaching experience, starting as a subject teacher in the 1997-1998 academic year. He is known for his dedication to complementing the most conventional teaching resources with the generation of more innovative material, such as: animated presentations of processes or social dynamics, training videos and tutorials, blogs, resource pads, web pages or image, video and audio generation using AI.
It has introduced activities into teaching aimed at filtering insufficiently verified information -or, directly, false- that unfortunately circulates with increasing volume and speed on cultural diversity or human coexistence. The latest example in this line is the drive of a banc de recursos, under construction and constantly updated, which the candidate is generating from the research project AFRONTA, of which it is IP.
He has recently led as co-IP a Teaching Improvement Project (Challenge-based learning as a strategy for improving training and employability in the degrees of the Faculty of Philosophy and Arts within the framework of the ECIU University), over two academic years -2022-2023 and 2023-2024.
