The UAB card is a single means of identification for members of the university community, which gives you access to the different university services. The card remains valid for seven years.

With your university ID number (NIU), which is on the card, and the password that you can create on this link, you can access the intranet of the UAB, view your grades and academic record, access the Campus Virtual (online campus), etc.

How do I get it?

You can do this during the enrolment period for the 2017-2018 academic year (from 7 September to 22 October 2017, Monday to Thursday 8.30 a.m. to 3.30 p.m. and Friday (
8:30 to 14:30).  
As of October 23, the only point of emission of cards throughout the campus will be the office of the Bank of Santander of the Plaça Cívica.
  The opening hours of the point will be the same as before:
• Monday to Thursday: from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Newly arrived students on the Bellaterra campus

Newly arrived students can get their card on the same day they enrol or at any time between the start of enrolment and the end of September. You can pick up your card at the issuing point nearest to your faculty or school. To find your issuing point, consult this map, or use Google Maps geolocation:

Newly-arrived students on the Sabadell campus

Newly arrived students can get their card on the same day they enrol or at any time between the start of enrolment and the end of September. You can pick up your card at any issuing point on the Bellaterra campus. The point nearest to the Universitat Autònoma train station (FGC) is the one on the Plaça Cívica, but you can find all of them on this map.
If you can't get to the Bellaterra campus, you can request your card using this form. Please note that in this case the card will take three weeks to arrive at your home address. When you get your card you need to activate it on this link.

Newly-arrived students at affiliated schools

You can get your card when your school has sent your data to the UAB. Your school will tell you when and how to apply for it.

Students who are not in their first year

Your card remains valid until its expiry date: you do not need to change it.

Outside the enrolment period

You can pick up your card at the office of Banco Santander, on the Plaça Cívica, Bellaterra campus.

What should I do if my card is stolen or lost?

If your card is stolen, lost or damaged, contact the office of Banco Santander, on the Plaça Cívica, Bellaterra campus, to ask for a replacement.

How can I renew my card when it expires?

It will be renewed automatically and the new card will be sent to your home address.
 
What should I do if my personal data change?

To make any changes to your personal details on your academic record, contact the Gestió Acadèmica (Academic Management) of your faculty or school.
If these changes affect your UAB card, contact the office of Banco Santander, on the Plaça Cívica, Bellaterra campus, to get the new card, or request it using this form.
