The Delegates’ Forum is a platform for training and debate aimed at the UAB faculties’ class delegates. There will be one training session in the morning and one in the afternoon every month, so that all delegates can attend. These 90 minute sessions deal with issues that the class delegates consider to be of interest and relevance to their functions. Besides the training purpose, the Delegate’s Forum helps strengthen the bond between delegates, thereby creating a network between all UAB faculties.

In the first term of this academic year, there were training sessions on the operation of the UAB representative bodies, study grants and the function of UAB assessment surveys. In the second term of this academic year, the sessions will revolve around three main subjects: student rights and duties, university employability, in collaboration with Treball Campus (the UAB careers office), student involvement and international mobility grants.

You will shortly be able to register for the first session on the Community Involvement Unit’s website. The first meeting will take place on 22 February and will deal with student rights and duties. This training session will coincide with the second debate in the series of #debatspublicaXXI debates. Therefore, the delegates will receive the training and take part in the second debate simultaneously.
