New website on food services on the UAB campus

A new website offers information on the services of restaurants found at the UAB, both with practical data (geolocation of the restaurant, opening hours, etc.) and with information on responsible restaurants and healthy eating. The new website is designed to be used in all types of devices.

The UAB offers a new website with information on food services on the Bellaterra Campus and the Sabadell campus. The new site can be used with all devices.

The web includes all university restaurants, both the ones managed by the UAB Restaurant Services and other food establishments found on campus. It also includes a map with geolocations of all UAB restaurants, as well as practical information on opening hours, menus and contact details. It also offers information on food services and reservations.

The website also offers a section on food and health, controls and foods without gluten or allergens, and another section named "Responsible Restaurants", which explains the campaigns and initiatives at the UAB related to social sustainability and justice in the food sector.

Accredited Quality

The UAB bars and restaurants work with local and seasonal products. They also serve ecological food. All campus establishments have received two accreditations from the Government of Catalonia's Department of Health: the AMED (establishment promoter of the Mediterranean diet) and the AQUÍ SÍ – Fruita i Salut (establishment promoter of the daily consumption of fresh, varied, quality and local fruit).

In the "Carta de serveis" section of the website, browsers will learn about how the UAB establishments work and their commitments to quality, with the aim of fostering continuous improvements and increasing the degree of satisfaction among users.
