The aim of the Mentor programme is to promote relationships between international and local students, making your stay at the UAB and your academic and social integration easier thanks to the support of local students. If you join the programme, you will be assigned a mentor from your faculty who will help you to access information about courses and professors. During the first few days of the semester, the mentor will guide you through the International Welcome Days and help you with accommodation, local cultural activities, etc.

If you decide to apply for a mentor or “buddy”, please note that a minimum number of three applicant international students per faculty is required. The Mentor programme is aimed at all international students who come to the UAB on an exchange programme. If you are interested in getting to know the local culture, meeting new people, finding out about the UAB and the opportunities it offers from the inside, or if you are just nervous because of your first few days abroad, then the Mentor programme is exactly what you are looking for!

The Mentor programme is designed to foster cultural exchange, language practice and social relations on campus. If all this sounds good to you, registrations are open now.
