We already have winners of the Stop and Read contest

Queralt Colorado, a student of the Spanish Language and Literature Degree, Francesca Garcias and Pilar Savá, Medicine students, and Laia Rissech, of the PAS, are the winners of the Stop and Read competition organized by the UAB Libraries Service.

Taking advantage of the celebration of the festival of Sant Jordi at the UAB, from the Library Service of the university they organized the contest of photographs Stop and Read, with the support of the Community Involvement Unit. Among the twelve images that were published, three were the winners.

Last Friday, May 4th, the Queralt Colorado, student of the Degree in Spanish Language and Literature, Francesca Garcias and Pilar Savá, students of Medicine, and Laia Rissech, of the PAS, collected their prize, a batch of books, in the Library of Communication and General Newspaper Library.

The contest was open to all members of the university community. The deadline for submission of the photographs began on April 23rd and ended on Friday 27th. Participants had to go through one of the university's libraries, take a book from the reading point and take a photograph reading it in the same place. Next, they had to upload the photograph on Instagram with their name, with the hashtag #aturatilllegeixbibUAB, and tag and follow @bibliotequesuab.
