The UAB centres welcome new bachelor's degree students

The 2016/17 academic year begins in September. The UAB academic centres begin the year by organising a series of welcoming sessions for first-year students. For detail information on each of the sessions, please check the website of the centre in which you are interested.

During the month of September, the UAB academic centres begin the year by organising a series of welcoming sessions for first-year students starting their university studies in the 2016-2017 academic year.

Activities begin on Monday, 5 September. The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine will be offering welcoming sessions to students on 5 and 6 September. Lectures for first-year students begin on 14 September. The Faculty of Communication Studies will be welcoming students on 5 September and beginning classes on 6 September. The Faculty of Education will be offering welcoming sessions to the students of different studies on 5 and 7 September, and beginning lectures on 8 September.

The Faculty of Translation and Interpreting will welcome students on 7 and 8 September, and the first day of classes will be Monday 12 September. The Faculty of Philosophy and Arts will offer welcoming sessions on 8 and 9 September and classes will begin on 9 September.

On 9 September, the School of Engineering will also welcome new students, and classes will begin on Monday 12 September. The faculties of Business and Economics, Biosciences, Sciences, Law and Medicine will hold welcoming sessions and begin classes on 12 September. Monday 12 September will also be when the Faculty of Political Science and Sociology begins lectures, while the welcoming sessions will be held on 12 and 13 September.
