Friday 13 November brought the Sound Pau Fest, charity concert organized by the Sant Pau assembly with the support of Community Involvement and Espiga beer. The Medical students from the hospital were the artists, and they raised €265, which was donated to the Western Sahara Aid Association in Elche.

Following the floods of the last few weeks, approximately 90.000 people have been affected in the camps of Western Sahara and more than 25,000 families have lost their homes. The main aim of the Western Sahara Aid Association in Elche is to send help and cooperate with the Sahrawi people, who took refuge in Hamada de Tindouf more than 30 years ago. In order to help the refugees in these camps, the association sends non-perishable goods, powdered baby milk, medicines and blankets.

Thanks to this concert, the Medical students were able to do their bit for the serious emergency situation in these camps.
