New calls for the UAB Solidarity Fund

The 33rd call for the UAB Solidarity Fund, aimed at PDI and PAS, and the E2015-2016 call, aimed at postgraduate, MA and PhD students, are now open. The Fund encourages university cooperation actions with countries of the South and promotes development through education.

The 33rd call for the UAB Solidarity Fund has two lines of grants. On one hand, in the area of cooperation for development (line 1), the priority are inter-university cooperation projects oriented at the strengthening of teaching and research abilities of the counterparts of the South, and at the improvement of university management. On the other hand, in the area of development through education (line 2), the grants encourage activities aimed at the use of critical knowledge and the introduction of contents and tools with perspective of development through cooperation in UAB studies.

The period to enter applications for this call will open on 11 January and will close on 26 February 2016.

The call for E2015-2016 pretends to encourage the participation of postgraduate, MA and PhD students in projects and initiatives of university cooperation in countries of the South, or initiatives of development through education directly related to their ongoing studies. It is possible to make proposals related to other UAB projects, Master research projects or projects related to PhD.

The period to enter applications for this call will open on 11 January and will close on 31 March 2016.
