A new app called "Becas Universia" offers information on over 13,000 grants for students, lecturers, researchers and administration and services staff. The app is available for IOS and Android.

The app consists of a large academic programmes searcher with the option of sharing information through social networks or e-mail. In addition, the programme generates a minimum usage of internet data.

To search for a grant, users can filter by types, destination, origin of the searcher or profile: pre-university student, university student, graduate, lecturer, research, administration staff, services staff, etc.

The available grants come from the 1,290 universities that form part of Universia, the most important Ibero-American network of higher education institutions, present in 23 countries in Europe (Spain, Portugal and Andorra) and in the Americas (Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico, Uruguay and Venezuela). Universia is sponsored by Banco Santander.
