Creation of the Office of International Projects

International research
The new office, which will form part of the Office of the Deputy Executive Administrator for Research, will assess and manage project applications looking for international funding.

30/05/2016

The two main structures which until now offered services in the management and support of international projects were the Office of International Research Projects and the Unit of International Educational Projects from the Area of International Relations. They have been reorganised into one single structure: the Office of International Projects.

The change was made to make this area more coherent and more independent in the purpose and sources of funding for the projects, improve coordination and offer a more cross-curricular service to users.

For this reason, the management and support given to international projects from now on will be coordinated by the Office of International Projects, which will be under the direction of the Office of the Deputy Executive Administrator for Research. The main objective of this new structure is to assess and manage the applications for international funding for projects in research, teaching innovation and/or knowledge transfer, and to facilitate their coordination and follow-up.

The office's contact information can be found at the UAB Directory.
