Can Roca wins the High School Debate League 2018
The High School Debate League began on February 21st and ended on Friday 23rd. The winner has been the institute Can Roca, which will represent the UAB in the final phase in the Miguel Hernández University of Elche from April 11th to 13th, 2018.

The local phase of the High School Debate League at the UAB began on February 21st and ended on Friday the 23rd. The teams of San Antoni de Pàdua and Can Roca met in the final. The winner was Can Roca. The team will represent the UAB in the final phase at the Miguel Hernández University in Elche from 11th to 13th April 2018. The number of institutes registered in this edition, a total of sixteen, has increased: last year there were only eleven. The topic that the participants have debated during these three days has been: "Does humor have limits?"
On Friday, January 19th, the institutes registered in the League were able to attend an informative session in the theater of the university. Afterwards, on Thursday, January 25th, the team captains were trained and the raffle was held to find out the team positions during the first phase. The High School Debate League, organized by the Catalan university network, allows high school students to encourage the use of the word through dialectical confrontation on a controversial and topical issue, and also offers to students the possibility to have a first contact with the university world.
