Campus services from 26 March to 2 April

As in recent years, centres at the Bellaterra Campus will be closed during the spring break: from 26 March to 2 April only certain services will be operating on campus.

The UAB will be closing all centres from 26 March to 2 April. Some services, however, will remain open in special cases.

The UAB security services will be working 24 hours a day, every day, and can be reached at 93 581 25 25. The UAB Healthcare Service will be closed and therefore, in case of an emergency, please contact the campus security services or call the emergency number 112.

The internal bus service will not be operative. For information on reaching the campus with alternative means of transport, please consult the website http://www.uab.cat/web/home-1273127135994.html. The post office Correus will be open Monday 26 to Thursday 29, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

The libraries will be closed, except for the Social Sciences Library (Floors 2 and 3) which will open 23 March until 12 midnight, and from 24 March to 2 April from 7 a.m.to 12 midnight. The library will resume its normal activity again on 3 April at 7 a.m.

The Computer Services User Support Unit (93 581 21 00, cas@uab.cat) will be open on Monday 26 March (from 8 a.m.to 8 p.m.), on Wednesday 28 (from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.) and on Thursday 29 (from 8 a.m. to 3p.m.). The unit will not be open on Tuesday 27 given that there will be a shut down for maintenance.

For those needing photocopies, all machines will be functioning and the copy store at the Plaça Cívica will be open on workdays (26 to 29 March) from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. The General Register Office, located at the Rectorat building, will be open on workdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. (93 581 20 29, registre.general@uab.cat).

The Physical Activity Service (SAF) will be open from9 a.m to 10 p.m.on the days 26 to 29 March. It will be closed from 30 March to 2 April. The only restaurants open will be the café located at the Hotel Campus (every day from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.).
