Biomedical Students Council starts working

Three UAB students attended the National Biomedical Students Council representing all students of this bachelor’s degree at the UAB with the objective of improving the quality of the bachelor’s degree and achieve more opportunities for Biomedical students.

Thanks to these conferences, some projects have come up to make people know the Student Council and make it grow.

Last week, the II National Conferences of Biomedical Students took place in Seville. They were the first since the National Biomedical Students Council (CEEBi) was constituted in February in Valencia. From the UAB, Anaís Cuerva, Cèlia Cerezuela and Alberto Zurita attended representing all UAB Biomedical students.

After many months preparing in assemblies all the content to work and decide on the conferences, UAB students came back from Seville with a list of masters on Biomedical Sciences from all Spanish universities, an educational plan for students for next year, a group to get SICUE exchanges for students in CEEBi, a project to promote students internships in university laboratories and a lot of projects to make people know the Council and make it grow.

Additionally, UAB students could enjoy the city and make people know the Student Council. During the weekend, students from Seville showed them the city and its most beautiful places. Ultimately, students representing the UAB spent a couple of days working with the objective of improving the Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Sciences and achieving more opportunities for Biomedical students and they also had a good time.
