The annual event known as JFET (the Catalan acronym for ‘Seminar for the Promotion of Telecommunication Studies’) aims to link the academic and the professional telecoms world. The second edition of this event has been organized jointly by the State’s Telecommunication Student Council (CEET) and the Student Council of the UAB School of Engineering. The main goal is to promote cooperation among the visitors, whether they are UAB students or students from other universities.

This year’s edition has been organized by the representatives of the UAB School of Engineering, which will receive 2,300 students of the UAB’ School of Engineering and 50 more students from other universities. In the event, the students will have the chance to take part in several lectures and workshops chaired by firms and public institutions. Moreover, there will be guided tours for students who are curious to know what it really means to be a telecommunications engineer.

The event will be attended by telecommunications experts and members of Catalan institutions such as the City of Barcelona. For further information, please visit the website and the programme of the event.
