The UAB ranks 196 worldwide in the CWUR ranking
The UAB continues to be withing the top 1% of universities worldwide according to the latest edition of the CWUR World University Rankings, which takes into account the success of alumni and lecturers, as well as the university's scientific impact.
The CWUR World University Rankings 2024, the latest edition published by the CWUR consulting organisation, places the UAB in position 196 worldwide, ranking 74 in Europe and maintaining one more year its position as second top university in Spain in global score, surpassed only by the University of Barcelona.
The UAB received a global score of 78.9 points out of 100, which places it among the top 1% of universities worldwide. By indicators, the UAB stands out in research quality, in which it ranks 134 worldwide.
The CWUR ranking analyses 20,966 universities from all over the world and lists them accordng to a series of indicators and values: quality of education (25%), employability of alumni (25%), academic distinctions of lecturers (10%), and the quality of its research performance (40%).
