Andrea Noferini, lecturer of the UAB Department of Political Science and Public Law, will present the book El Govern de la Generalitat de Cataluña en la Unión Europea. La red de actores (IEA Recerca, n. 2, Institut d'Estudis d'Autogovern) on 1 June at 7 p.m. at the main offices of the Association of Political Scientists and Sociologists (Carrer Roger de Llúria, 155 ) in Barcelona.

The presentation is organised by the UAB Institute of European Studies and the UAB European Documentation Centre. Apart from the author, speaking at the event will be Raül Romeva, Minister for Foreign Affairs, Institutional Relations, and Transparency, and Anna Parés, Dean of the Association of Political Scientists and Sociologists.

As the European integration process advances, the issue of regions has appeared on the academic and political agenda, and there is a need to debate the role of territorial entities within the complex multilevel system of the European Union. On this basis, Noferini's book analyses the relationship between Catalonia's government and the EU, and rebuilds the formal and informal networks created by the regional actors participating in European issues.
