Francisco J. Ayala
Francisco José Ayala was awarded an honorary doctorate by the UAB in recognition of his double excellence, in science, for his contribution to population genetics and biological evolution, and in humanities, for his contribution to epistemology, ethics and Philosophy of Biology, an example of the fertile type of collaboration in these two areas of knowledge.
