For the last 2 years, I’ve been co-leading an interesting and complex process involving Indigenous and non-indigenous students in the creation of short videos that center Indigenous perspectives on the Puget Sound or what’s increasingly referred to as the Salish Sea to acknowledge Indigenous presence in the US Pacific Northwest. I’ll talk about the potential for such empowering educational processes.
