Constanza Monterrubio Solís, is a postdoctoral fellow at the Center of Indigenous and Intercultural Studies (CIIR) and the UC Center of Local Development (CEDEL), Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. She is also a Research Fellow at the ECOS (Ecosystem-Complexity-Society) Co-Laboratory. Bachelor's degree in Biology from UNAM, Mexico (2007). MSc in Conservation Biology (2008) and Ph.D. in Biodiversity Management (2015) from the University of Kent in Canterbury, UK. She has worked with collective natural resources management in Mexico and is currently studying the resilience of local food systems, the conservation, and revitalization of biocultural heritage in the La Araucania region of Chile.
