This course trains specialists in knowledge applied to: fundamental aspects of nutrition and food, dedicating special attention to the energetic function of nutrition and to preventive aspects associated with correct eating; the characteristics of healthy eating to improve quality of life; the characteristics of healthy eating behaviour, providing the keys for a correct combination of food items, the correction of other aspects of healthy eating behaviour such as shopping habits, conservation and preparation of food; instruments to influence positively on healthy eating behaviour, the differential aspects of healthy eating in the various different stages of life; designing individualized intervention programme to adapt diet and food habits in a healthy manner in all aspects for each person.
