Online specialisation course in welfare to train specialists in the practical application in the population of lifestyle improvement programmes related to health.
On this course you will work on aspects linked to nutrition and nutrients, eating, food and food habits (selecting, buying, preparing food and possible changes in habits), in particular, and how to achieve healthy eating behaviour according to the profile and development stage of each person.
During this theoretical-practical course, you will receive the know-how of specialist lecturers in the Sports Psychology Laboratory, linked to the Lifestyle, Sport and Health consolidated research group at the Sports Research Institute UAB.
You can enrol at any time during the academic year. There is also the possibility of this course being recognised as a postgraduate module in the Healthy Lifestyle course of the same name and you can then go on to complete the other modules of the postgraduate course.
ContentsThis course trains specialists in the applied knowledge of: basic aspects of nutrition and food with particular attention to the energy function of food and nutrition and preventative aspects associated with healthy eating; the characteristics of healthy eating for improving quality of life; the characteristics of healthy eating behaviour, with key information about the correct combination of foods; review of other aspects of healthy eating such as food shopping, conservation and preparation; instruments for a positive influence on healthy eating behaviour; different aspects of healthy eating at different times of life; the design of a programme for individual intervention for adaptation to a healthy diet and eating habits in all aspects for each person.
