On campus services available during August
The UAB campus services will offer a combination of remote and in-office attention with special opening hours during the month of August. Train and bus lines to and from campus will also function on different timetables, which can be consulted on the UAB Mobility and transport website.

During the month of August, the UAB campus services will have special opening hours and a combination of in-office and remote services will be offered.
The Health Assistance Services (Servei Assistencial de Salut) will be open on 1 August and from 25 to 29 August, Mondays to Fridays, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (93 581 18 00). Appointments will be given by phone or e-mail: recepcio.servei.salut@uab.cat. In case of an emergency outside these hours, please contact the campus security services, which will be working 24 hours a day and can be reached at 93 581 25 25.
The Information Service at the Plaça Cívica will be open during the whole month (except for Friday 15 August), and will offer services in-office, by phone and by e-mail, Mondays to Fridays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (93 581 11 11, informacio@uab.cat). The International Relations Area will be available in-office and online from 9:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., on 1 August and from 25 to 29 August (international@uab.cat).
The Computer Services' Users Support Unit (CAS) will be available from 1 to 31 August from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (93 581 21 00, cas@uab.cat).
The School of Continuing Education will be open to the public on 1 August and from 27 to 29 August, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (93 581 40 25, efp.academica@uab.cat). The Doctoral School will offer on-site and remote support on 1 August and from 27 to 29 August, Mondays to Fridays, from 9:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The General Register Office, in the Rectorat building, will be open all of August, Mondays to Fridays, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (93 581 20 29, registre.general@uab.cat). Those applying for an idCAT digital certificate must make an appointment. Telematic registry is available at the UAB's Electronic Office.
The Research Management Area will be available from 1 to 31 August on-site and remotely from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (a.gestio.recerca@uab.cat).
Transport options available to get to and from campus can be consulted at the UAB Mobility and transport website.
The Physical Activity Service (SAF) will be open Mondays to Fridays from 8:15 a.m. to 9:20 p.m. (93 581 19 34). To use the facilities you will need to make a reservation. In the news section of the website you will find updates on any changes in opening hours or services.
The Veterinary Clinic will remain open from Mondays to Fridays by appointment only. Emergency services will be available 24 hours a day (93 581 18 94, hcv@uab.cat).
All campus restaurants and cafés will be closed during August, except for the cafeteria at the Faculty of Social Sciences,which will be open from 8 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Libraries will have different timetables and can be consulted at the UAB Libraries website. The study hall of the Social Sciences Library will be open on weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
